Help Better SMS Agent??

Hi everyone I am using PDAnet on my laptop and I really like it and all, but is there a better SMS Agent application that I can use with PDAnet.

For some reason the contacts sort on the order of the phone numbers and not the contact name...

+ Are there anymore USB/Android tethering programs out there that are better than the June Fabrics product?

thanks
