Better streaming media player?

I use RssDemon and I need a player that can stream podcasts in the background but the default app with DINC2 falls short in this regard. I'm trying mplayer but the play/pause icons get messed up.

Can someone recommend a solid player?

Ive been using TuneIN Radio. I use it for most of my listening. Seems to load quickly and doesnt drop signal very much. It has a favorite tab.

Google Music is the bomb. TuneIn is pretty baddass too.
If you just want a new media player, Vital Player is pretty solid.
