Root BeyondPod and Listen not showing run times (using Backside)

Hey guys. Not sure if this is the best place to post this but hopefully it is.

I was using the trial version of BeyondPod for listening to podcasts. I found that it was very unreliable when it came to pausing and resuming where I left off. I noticed that when I was on the screen with the controls that the little bar that fills from left to right while listening never seemed to move nor did the elapsed time increase.

I decided to give Listen (by Google) a try. I've found that it does the same thing. I can get the timeline to work if I tap on the timeline. The bar then grows and the elapsed time increases one second at a time.

I'm running Backside from a version just before the April 1st version. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Thanks

Maybe it's time to upgrade to May 2nd build...just maybe.
And april 1st is an april fools build, some things arent supposed to work, just saying.

Yes I do realize that I should upgrade but I don't really have the time to do it now. I'm curious if what I'm talking about has any kind of fix in the newer versions.

I'm aware of the April Fools boot animation. I am not running that build. I am running the one that was release just prior to that one.

hmmmm, does it do this with another ROM? It could be just that ROM or a screw up in the build.

This is a bug present in all iho based roms except bobzhome. Something bob does fixes this. Any audio app that uses Androids media system will have it. A work around is to skip foward a few seconds.
