Big List of Android Game Reviews [UPDATED DAILY]

It is very lovely indeed - but they did show a few non-incentivized ads that were obtrusive, which I didn't really like. I love incentivized ads, though. But anyway, the overall gameplay is really fun, and I had a good time playing the game :)

I've thought about covering an open world survival game or two - but haven't found any really good ones so far. I have a few potential candidates installed, but if you have any suggestions, I'd gladly hear them? :) Might do a video next week featuring an open world game - so stay tuned.

Thanks, man. Appreciate your support :)

Today's Commentary / Recommendation: MouseBot
MouseBot is an exciting new mouse racing game (yes, you read that right) from the makers of Riptide GP and Beach Buggy Blitz. Although a free game, I was shown no forced ads in my time with the game, which is always a great sign.

The core gameplay is solid, and the unlockables (skins, hats etc.) are exciting enough to keep me playing. But what do you think about the game - let me know after watching the video :)

Today's Commentary / Recommendation: Pocket Rogues
In this Pocket Rogues gameplay commentary, I cover everything from the monetization to the core gameplay mechanics and art style of this lovely roguelike rpg in the hopes that it'll give you folk a good impression of whether or not Pocket Rogues is just the game for you.

Personally, I absolutely loved playing the game because of its difficulty and intense gameplay.

I like this. Reminds me a lot of Gauntlet, an old arcade game

Yeah, I must admit that I really enjoyed the game too! Didn't know about Gauntlet, but I see how they look a bit alike.

Today's Commentary / Recommendation: Transformers: Forged to Fight
Transformers: Forged to Fight is a game that really positively surprised me. I initially thought it'd be a crappy game based on the popular Transformers franchise, but the game is actually a really entertaining action fighting game.

The audio is great, the game is polished, and you know... fighting with big transformer Mechs makes you feel awesome - does it get any better? ;)

Today's Commentary / Recommendation: Standoff 2
Standoff 2 is a brand new first person shooter (FPS) for mobile that is currently being alpha tested. So far, the controls aren't amazing, but being the optimist I am, I'm hoping that this is something the developers will improve upon in the coming months.

The core of the game plays really well, though, and the matchmaking is really good already. Thumbs up for getting networking working rather well on mobile!

Today's Commentary / Recommendation: CATS: Crash Arena Turbo Stars
Let's be honest here. Nobody quite makes games like Zeptolab (the creators of Cut the Rope). CATS is one of the most polished games I've played in a while, and the core gameplay is really entertaining.

I especially love the fact that you can bet parts on other people's matches. Keeps the game fresh and entertaining even after you've lost 3 matches in a row :)

Today's Commentary / Recommendation: Strike of Kings
Strike of Kings has some of the most intuitive controls I've ever experience in any MOBA on mobile. The game plays super smoothly as well, and the matchmaking is insanely snappy.

Monetization-wize, there's of course no forced ads, but you can pay to unlock specific heroes. Alternatively, you can just play with the heroes when they are free for a week (the free heroes change every week). Overall, the best MOBA experienced I've had on mobile!

Crikey, that is a total League Of Legends clone. How do they get away with it?

No. Way more basic.
Actually not sure then. Sorry :/ Can you remember anything else about the game?

Well, the game is developed by Tencent, who owns Riot Games - the markers of League of Legends.
As far as I know, all art, voice-lines etc. are unique, though. Sure, the gameplay is similar to LoL, but that's because it is owned by the same company, I assume :)
It's a really solid game, though. Will definitely be playing it a lot.

Today's Commentary / Recommendation: Dread Rite
Dread Rite is a 100% free (yep, no in-app purchases or ads) game based on the infamous Warlock mod from Warcraft 3.

The game has singleplayer, online, and local wi-fi game modes and is a game perfectly made for a mobile version of a lan party.
Controls are good, graphics what you can expect from a tiny indie game, and overall it's a really fun game.

Ah! The penny drops. Fair enough then, it's a great game.

Took me a bit of research to figure out too, hehe :)

Today's Commentary / Recommendation: Critical Ops
Critical Ops is as close to CS:GO as you get on mobile. The fact that you can't aim down the sight makes the controls way easier, as you play online in the Team Deathmatch or Bomb game modes.

The game has no pay 2 win elements at all, and the monetization relies purely on selling skins. No forced ads either.

You suck!! :D
Just kidding, it was the lag of course. Seriously though, looks like a very good mobile FPS, I'll probably install this one.

Critical Ops and Bullet Force are by far my favorites. Will do a video on Bullet Force next week. I usually compare Critical Ops to CS and Bullet Force to Battlefield or CoD.

Today's Commentary / Recommendation: Tiny Guns
Don't let the name fool ya', there are plenty of huge guns in Tiny Guns, which is a free to play arcade shooter with an awesome, polished, 8-bit style.

As for monetization, the game shows you no forced ads, but does allow you to watch an ad to buy gold. You acquire gold through ordinary gameplay rather quickly, though. So I consider this a 100% free casual game. Great fun!

Today's Commentary / Recommendation: Robot Unicorn Attack 3
Robot Unicorn Attack 3 is a really solid game, but the new features added to third installment don't add a whole lot of fun. Sure, new features are nice, but useless if it doesn't add to the game.

Monetization is fine, but there are a few too many elements that more or less requires you to spend some dollars on in-app purchases. All in all, the game is still good old fun. It really is. The game is just not as amazing as many hoped it would be.

Today's Commentary / Recommendation: Dash Titans
Dash Titans is a casual indie game that works offline, has no forced ads, and in general is just very light on the monetization front. The art style is absolutely amazing!

The core gameplay is fun and challenging, and there are several control mechanics to choose from. Some of the many fun characters to unlock have special abilities too, which adds a nice little extra something to the game.
