Big problem from flashing rom

I just tried to flash the checkrom v6 onto my galaxy s2 everything was working fine, i went into cwm and installed the checkrom and it started running and flashing. 2-3 Minutes later is says the flashing is complete so i reboot it and now my external sd card cannot be read or mounted or reformatted. All my apps and settings are still there but i have a feeling the flashing failed. (when i rebooted it didn't go to the checkrom screen it went back to my wallpaper to unlock the phone). My phone is unreadable on my computer, theres was an option that said the external sd is damaged and needs to be reformatted but it kept failing. I also tried restoring from cwm but it says nothing could be found. **was just able to access my phone's sd card from computer, most of my files are gone but there is a "efs.autobackup.img" which is 20 mb. Any suggestions?

If your phone is usable, post up your settings on here in "about phone" for model number, baseband, kernel and build no.

I took the chance and tried to flash the checkrom again. Again it took 2-3 minutes and then i rebooted and that took about 5 mins. I went "about phone" and it says im on checkrom v6 so i guess im fine now?

I think that happened to me as well, but I wasn't sure what to attribute it to. I thought maybe the file didn't download correctly so I downloaded it again and then full wiped and installed, that's when it worked.. Which was weird because even after full wiping the first time and flashing, it still brought me to the old ROM with all my apps and settings...
