I need more information in order to properly help you. Are you unlocked/rooted? Are you running a custom ROM? If so, do you have any custom mods installed?

This problem seems to be an issue with a few devices... Not just the N5, so it's possibly a bug in 4.4.2.
From what I've heard, the main cause seems to be GPS related (GPS listener function) and can also be due to the Transparent Clock & Weather app.
Some have resolved the error by doing the following.
If your using that app.. I would suggest removing the widget from your home screen and freezing the app with something like Titanium Backup or going into that apps settings and changing it from GPS to wifi/data only. You may want to disable any other app that is using GPS, just to narrow down the source.
You may want to just turn GPS off completely.
You could also try booting into safe mode for a day or so and see if the error still occurs.
If any of those remedies the problem then you know that is GPS/app related.

I've never encountered this. I'd try the above first, and if that doesn't help my next step would be a full wipe and reflashing a different ROM.

If that doesn't work, I'd flash back to the stock factory firmware

If that still doesn't work, it might be time to contact Google.
