I'm stuck on CWM recovery. I can't get anything to work on CWM because it won't mount system, data, cache files. I can't install or run my backup or any of the varied roms.

I can get to the CWM recovery screens but thats it. I really need some help here, what can I do to fix this problem?
Everytime I try to even do a wipe it won't work because nothing mounts.

have you correctly installed requisites recovery? if that doent work use odin to go back and install stock

OK I used Odin installed stock but now I don't have any data and I can't root my phone superuser is installed but when I run the one click for root it doesn't take and nothing gets installed.

Re -install drivers and try it again

REinstalled the Samsung drivers but no help fixing problem. Now I can't even connect to Odin it won't show connection in com port mapping.

Yeah it's the indulge drivers. I've gotten Odin up again and went through the process, same result. I don't have any data. I've tried several times to root the phone but it doesn't root. I don't know how to capture a screen shot of the command window but heres what comes up when I try to root.

'adb' not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
"
[*] Triggering core dump..."
'adb is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. It repeats this sequence for the next 6 lines
"
[*] Rebooting phone. It may buzz a lot and loop on boot. Don't panic."
then for the next 7 lines it goes back to the "adb" not recognized thing.
[*] Installing SuperUser.apk If this hangs, just cansel it with Ctrl+C after a few seconds."
"
[*] and you'll be finished rooting your phone. Reboot and enjoy."
'adb' is not recognized...yadda yadda yadda.
"
[*] Persistance complete, enjoy your rooted phone!"
'adsb not recognized.......

I have SU installed, I have busy box downloaded but can't install it because I'm not rooted yet SU acts just like it dies when I was rooted and had custom roms flashed.

One of the problems I had when last running the Lunar rom was that I kept getting the error message "Error cache could not be opened" is it possible that whatever was causing that error carried over when I ran Odin? I ask because for some reason access problems seem to be the cause of my problems. Here is what happened on my last attempt to root.

error: unknown host service
"
[*] Triggering core dump..."
[1] Segmentation fault app-process /dev...
cannot create /data/local.prop: permission denied
"
[*] Rebooting phone. It may buzz a lot and loop on boot. Don't panic."
remount failed: Operation not permitted
failed to copy 'su' to '/system/xbin/su' : Read only file system
the next few lines are composed of custom character images that I don't know how to make. But at the end of each it does say: error 22
"
[*] Installing Superuser.apk If this hangs, just cancel it with Ctrl+C after a few seconds,"
738 KB/s (196521 bytes in 0.260s)
Error: Could not access the Package Manager. Is the system running?
Then this line is the same strange characters ending with error 22
"
[*] Persistance complete, enjoy your rooted phone!"

Press any key to continue . . .

I hope one of you devs can help point me in the right direction because I'm completely lost right now.

Also I no longer have the 5.0.2.7 CWM recovery console. I'm on the Odin recovery console which is extremely limited.

Someone please point me to where I can download and install data on my phone. Also why can't I root this phone? The post before this one shows what happens when I attempt to run the one click boot set up.

Problem solved, out of desperation I started going over every file, script and app from the stock set up. I reloaded several and although I didn't take the risk of changing anything in the script files somewhere along the line late last night I did my last reboot and then once again tried to access CWM 5.0.2.7 which I couldn't get into for hours. Finally suddenly it worked and my data rebooted and the phone went from refusing to allow me to root it to being fully rooted.
I don't know which step or what system app that got reloaded that solved the problem but right now I've got everything back and healthy including fixing the inability to mount anything in recovery. I wish I had written down every step but I didn't I was just desperatly hoping something would work and finally it did.
