My N7000 will only go about nine hours before the low battery alert pops - and that's with minimal use throughout the day.
I've been the battery monitor route - and found the occasional bad actor (the most recent being corrupted files on a 64-gig micro SD card that were making "Media" run excessively).
But now, even with no bad actors, the battery just isn't holding up very long. GSM says 17 hours for average battery life, but that's become something of a dream.
I'm thinking "Bigger Battery" - as in the Mugen product: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1669303
I see other batteries for a fifth of Mugen's cost (e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mreJ5xGyrn0) but I'm thinking there's probably a lot that I am clueless about - and that making an intelligent decision on lowballing it might be beyond my pay grade.
