For as long as I can remember, I've been running custom ROMS on my Bionic, but I really wanted 4.1 and when I saw there was an OTA update out with it for the bionic and couldn't find any custom ROMS that weren't buggy, I went back to stock and installed the OTA Jelly Bean update. Ever since then, I've had one major problem in that A-my battery life is TERRIBLE (with the full, paid version of Juice Defender) and B-(and this is either a side-effect or a cause) my phones running really hot.
What's worse, there's no real meathod I've found to remove the update or root 4.1 on my bionic. Has anyone else encountered this or know of a fix?
Once you're on JB you cannot go back. The link Markus posted (under the All Things JB section) contains the only known way currently to root the Bionic on JB.
