Help Bionic BT DUN Not Working

Hi,

I've paid for the Wireless Hot Spot feature on my Bionic. That seems to work OK. In the past (on my older phone), I've used DUN over Bluetooth. I find that BT DUN is preferable in certain instances.

Has anyone had success running BT DUN on their Droid? I haven't yet. I've been able to pair the Bionic with my Win7 PC, and the properties show that the Bionic offers a DUN Service.

I've set up a Dial-Up connection, and when I attempt to connect all appears OK until the last step where I either get a 629 Error Code from Windows.

Does anyone have any insight into this?

I spent an hour on the phone with Verizon today. I spoke with multiple technical support staff, eventually leading me to believe that the feature isn't supported by Verizon. Clearly, the phone supports DUN as a technology, but for whatever reason, it's disabled by either Motorola or Verizon or both.
