Help Bionic Died on me!

The title says it all. I was on the phone yesterday and all of sudden, the conversation just ended. I look at my phone and the screen didn't turn on. I try pressing every button to see if the screen would react but nothing happened. I did a battery pull and the phone still won't turn on. The phone was working fine before this happened. It wasn't glitching on me, it wasnt getting warm. It was running perfect. What do you think it could have been? The battery was at 70 percent when this happened. Maybe my battery gave out? Any ideas would be great. I really enjoy this phone and I don't want to buy another phone out of contract since I can't return this phone now.

I suggest trying another battery, beyond that I have no idea. You are still in warranty though, so I would just call Verizon.

I took my phone to Verizon and tested it out with a new battery. It still wasn't working. Luckily, Verizon offered to replace the phone for free. I'll be getting a new one tomorrow. This will be my 3rd Bionic. I love the phone but this is getting out of hand. Motorola dropped the ball on this phone. :(

Like I said in another thread - I knew people who said that about the Motorola DROID.

I have thee same phone in front of me that I bought on 6 Nov 2009, while others went through 5 and even 6 phones.

If the vast majority of people had to replace their BIONIC then I'd agree that Motorola dropped the ball.

However, you have to remember one thing - Motorola doesn't ship their own phones, they ship via FedEx / UPS / some other freight shipper. And have you ever watched what actually happens to those boxes?

If the VZW stores received them on pallets, I'd feel much better - but I'm betting that most stores did not receive them on pallets, b/c of the limited supply that went out on day one. Which means more box jostling.

From your POV, yeah, you're having a bad time - and I'd start pushing VZW's buttons about giving you your money back and resetting your upgrade so you can get the Galaxy Nexus when it comes out....
