I'm using the shell/holster with extended battery now and it activates the dock mode. Still wont activate with the silicon one. Strange. It is a super tight fit, I have to force it to Latch in securely.

Just hold it down and back gently to flip the lock over. I got it (the dock) a couple of days ago and set it up int the VZ store parking lot (couldn't wait). Took out the insert and stuck it in with the case on. Worked great. I'm getting old so it helped my find my way home LOL.

Oh, gee - No, I do have sound, and I was able to get navigation, just couldn't find the voice search button. (Which apparently is now the actual search key - duh
). I haven't tried music, I've got an old Touch in my glovebox with a dedicated cord.

Dang it! I hope someone else has this problem. Hope its not a rooted problem.

Is your BlueTooth enabled? Try turning it off....
Ya, I turned it off, but it is still hit and miss. Some times, the audio works, other times, it doesn't.
