Bionic user... ANGRY!

I JUST got the Bionic, didn't know this phone was coming out. Wish I would have! Thinking about selling my Bionic and buying this. Is it worth it?

I couldn't be happier with this phone. The battery life was my biggest question coming in, I am pretty surprised at how good it is. Sense 3.5 is purely amazing.

Yup I had the Bionic for a few days and sold it. This phone is better in every way. Best phone I've ever had.

I had the Bionic and other than the FACT that it constantly had problems connecting to the net it was a great phone.
Sadly, this failure to connect problem was really bad.
According to Verison I should try turning wifi on and off, put it in airplane mode and turn airplane mode off, if all those failed reboot the phone.
I must have done this 10-20 times a day. Phone would NEVER connect whether it was wifi, 3G or 4G. Horrible connection issues.
Bought in Oct. Problems immediately. Verizon said there's be an OTA by Nov 11th. Didn't come out until end of Dec. The OTA made the problem WORSE!
Finally I took it back to Verizon Jan 8th. They said "Tough luck buddy, nothing we can do."
So I escalated, got a manager, got nothing from her either.
Finally told her that Verizon was in Breach of Contract, that I was going to sue and would name all the employees in the store.
After going round and round for over an hour the manager comes back out and says "I will refund you your money on the Bionic and it's accessories and you can buy another phone, but if you threaten me again I'll ask you to leave."
I told her that I had not threatened her and that if she'd just done the right thing to begin with I'd never had to make a scene.

Enter the Rezound.
So far, not one connection issue.
Only thing I don't like about it is the extended battery is ridiculously monsterous. It doubles the thickness of the phone. Nearly double the thickness of the Bionic with Extended battery.
I bought it anyway, but haven't been using the extended battery, trying to see what I can tweak out of the std bat. Hopefully I can find some way to live with the stock batt.

Other than battery life, I really like the Rezound.

Careful that the "std bat" doesn't bite you! Dracula's herpes are probably no picinic! :p

I have friends who have the Bionic and the Rezound kills it overall. Such a wonderful phone. I ordered the Bionic and my friend told me I was nuts and to get either this or the Nexus and I loved the Rezound so I went with that. :)

HTC is such a prolific phone maker. The Rezound seems like a product of their extensive experience. As if they learned from all their previous mistakes.

Mortorola is a good company, but they don't make nearly as many phones as HTC.

Also, some Verizon stores are horrible. Some stores have very pushy and sleezy salespeople.

As an average user that likes to play with the phone as is, Sense UI is reason enough for me to stay with HTC products, now and in the future
