Help Bionic w/ HTC ROM?

Quick question for you all. So I am a long time HTC user (Touch, Touch Pro, Dinc) and really like Sense UI. Once the droid bionic gets rooted, can't I put an HTC rom on it? Assuming somebody has compiled one? Is it harder to root a motorola device?

Is that the case today with the Droid X? Are there any ROM's out there w/ Sense UI?

You can't most likely. Motorola locks the bootloader and to this day, even the original Droid doesn't have HTC ROM on it yet.

I'm thinking about this phone now over the Thunderbolt. Does it look a little thick to ya'll? As far as Sense, I would really miss it, but nothing Launcher Pro Plus couldn't mostly fix.

It does look a little thicker, wondering myself what the thickness is. Yeah Launcher pro is pretty great.

Then again it may be as thick as the Evo/Thunderbolt, which then wouldn't really matter. Just don't have much to compare it to right now.

I would just install LauncherPro Plus over the Moto UI. It has "Sense-like" features. Made my Droid 2 a lot better.

Isn't this more because Sense is closed-source? The OG Droid is the only Moto Android phone without a locked bootloader.
