Root (Bionic zero users) progress on patch

Finally managed to get some work done on the patch(hoping to get it released as soon as possible) ive put together everything everyone has led me to, problems wise, and have begun patching. Here are a few things ive worked on already
*quieted down the boot sound by 50% (for those who find it disturbing and loud but attractive)
*working on optimizing the boot animation/ zeros own animation.
*accesible apps are back (soundback,talkback,ect)
*mail app is back
*homebrew twlauncher has been removed in failure on my part (working on a replacement or a themed blur launcher pro)
*icons are being polished (some removed, some replaced, some redone for perfection/resized)
*framework has been cleaned and compressed for space (some adjustments to the theme)
*working on a few handy scripts (we might see that handy sms switcher death had in frunisher {to switch from untransparent to transparent})
*battery charging icon is...well...attractive now?
*more battery savings adjustments
*some network adjustments

Thats bout what i have been working on so far, again if there are any request or ideas. Shoot me up.
The gears are turning, sparks are flying, the eye is watching.
 
I've been enjoying Bionic Zero. It fixed the volume randomly changing and the random reboots I got with Velocity. I've only had a couple of problems. The transparent messaging window makes it hard to read text if you have a light colored wallpaper. Zeam forgets all my widgets when I restart the phone and I always have to reset it as the default launcher. It's awesome to have flash working on my Ally when my friend's Mesmerize says it can but doesn't. Keep up the good work!
 
Are you just gonna make a patch for this? Or do you think you can just made it into a whole new individual ROM like Bionic Zer0 1.1? Because I mean there is going to be a lot of changes to this ROM, you might as well make it version 1.1, or is it harder to integrate it to a new ROM now? I mean it would be easier cuz its all one package file but whatever is easier for you the developer. I just though it would be more organized. I wouldn't know, I'm not a developer, I'd have no idea how to dev. Developing sounds fun though. But yeah, consider that hopefully.
 
I mentioned in one of my ealier post that i have two build versions in my rom
(bionic build) dealing with scripts/apps/theme/ui
(Zero build) dealing with os structure

So it makes it easier on me updating the rom so i dont have to redo splash screens (somewhat of a pain, and being solo on the project, im limited on the time i have on work on development) il be compiling a patch then il apply it to the rom so all you guys have todo is redownload the rom, wipe the system and reinstall. Yeah, its alot of changes but zero was released more a less a beta so itl just make it more stable.

im hoping to find time to add alot of changes but just all depends and we,ll have to see what happens. ;)
 
What about the odd placement of things such as facebook. Somethings just dont fit the the screen like they normally would and videos dont appear.
 
That may be because of the flash player or browser and facebook app. Not because of the rom. Il work on the screen resolution and see if anything changes

I think it is becuse it says it requires a HTML 5 supported browser or flashplayer
 
I'm not sure if it's a firmware problem or what but whenever I try to download an app on the market with wifi enabled the download always stops at 17%
 
dude idk what more you an do with batt saving lol. its been like 1 day of non stop texting and occasional calling and i still have 70% left. its freaking crazy.

This morning i got to work on the stabilizer patch and heres what i have so far.

~scripts~ Absoluete will be being removed as its causing troubles so these scripts will help replace the app.
Mms switcher (thanks to death and frunisher rom) users have the ability to switch out from transparent mms to normal mms.
Bootanimation switcher users will have the ability to change their boot animation to another animation i will have supplied to them which will get copied over to their sdcard via first install. Some bootanimations i have supplied... (droid razr, droid bionic, zeros blue bionic, ice cream sandwhich nexus) il probably add more but thought those were a good start.
Read write access more control over system files
Ads blocker more control over blocking ads if something goes wrong

Icons were polished,removed,replaced,ect. You,ll notice the changes. Lockscreen on horizontal mode still acting up but not to worried about it.
~boot~ boot sound has been quieted down and the bootanimation has been optimized for the allys gpu. However the other noot animations are not.

I might post up the latest version of zero if time allows today so everyones up-to-date with my version.
 
The wirless teethering app does not work with my wii or one of my two laptops and my friends iphone but withe velocity v 1.2 it works with em fine but was hopeing you can add a fix to it man and I'm hoping I'm not the only one haveing the same issue

I use it all the time with my xbox 360?? Its quet possible it could be the wii but il see whats up

Wow really thats insane i get like 3 hours out of my phone and ive tried like 3 diffrent batterys.
 
Seems some devices arnt playen nice with this app so im going to create a switcher script for it as well, so users can easily find which app works best for their devices.

Keeping a constant watch on background apps, not running live wallpapers, and doen above cvan achieve a good battery life. It also depends on what launcher you run (for instance i love spb shell 3d, however the sucker eats my battery, launcher pro or adw ex usually takes it place, unless i pull a nifty launcher i find somewhere else)

ya thank you my bros xbox it works with good its just on every wii i tested it with it did not work at all and i have had some one ask if they can use there iphone on it and it did not work for them and there was this one compaq laptop also but im just wonting the wii thing worked out but take you time man if you find any thing on your part or my part let me know and i love the rom man!
 
Where can I pick up this ROM?? Might pick up an ally off amazon cheap and become a tester. I do enjoy messing around with my ally a lot so I could try being a tester if you're welcoming to newbies like me lol
 
Thank you so much man!!!! I absolutely love this rom!!!! So sleek, fast, efficient. Only questions I have are 1. I try to change the font size smaller and when I back out of it, the font is still large. And where is terminal emulator or a toolkit?? Just so I can find it
