Hello everyone,

Let me quickly introduce my new widget: it allows to display a chart of your favorite bitcoins directly on your homescreen :

STEP 1.) Select one of the major exchange:

STEP 2.) Select your preferred chart type:

Candlestick
Closing line
Median Price
OHLC (Open-High-Low-Close)
Typical Price
Weighted Close

STEP 3.) Do you want to see price bands added to the charts ?

Bollinger Band ?
Donchian Channel ?
SMA 20 +/-10% (SMA = Simpel Moving Average)

STEP 4.) Select a few timeframes ....

1 day
2 days
5 days
10 days
1 month
2 months
3 months
4 months
5 months
6 months
1 year
2 years
4 years
8 years
All Data available

STEP 5.) Click on OK !!

* One click to refresh or flip to the next timeframe (select them one by one in the settings).
** Double click to enter into the settings.
*** Three clicks will take you to the awesome StockTwits #bitcoin stream ($BCOIN)

in the new version (1.06) I have enabled the lock screen option (as requested by a user)

and you can now also test the PRO options (during the first 20 logs into the settings) :

=> you can add 2 moving averages to the charts (Simple, Exponential, Triangular, Weighted)- using 4 periods (10, 25, 50, 200)

=> Option to display Volumes bars or not. Option to force the scaling method (normal, log, percent or timeframe dependant), option to display Parabolic SAR on charts

=> click on "More Options" to test all these features

A quick question to the bitcoins fanboys : Would you like me to eventually add a few technical indicators to the charts, as an option. Would/Do you use these in fact ?

Take a look at the list on Bitcoin Charts / Charts under "Technical Indicators" :

-Accumulation/Distribution

Please update to the widget version 2.00 if you want to test this new feature.

You will notice that "volume" is available in the indicators. This can be quite handy as personally I like to have volume displayed but not in the top panel (with price). I display volume as an indicator below the bitcoin chart. Here's an example:

So, how do you test this ?

1. double click on your widget to enter the settings
2. Click on 'More Options'
3. Choose 'Technical Indicator #1' (Volume for example in the screenshot above) & 'Technical Indicator #2' (MACD for example)
4. Click OK

Hello everyone,

I've made a new widget during this holiday period. I personally use many finance apps and widgets but for intraday price action, I never found the widget I was looking for....

Instead of going back to the Google finance app just to check the intraday price action of my favorite stocks, I wanted to have these directly on my homescreen, as a scrollable list.

After some research, I was surprise to see that it does not exist yet on Google Play. So I developed it ...

=> Scroll down your list of stocks and quickly review intraday price action ...

Display either PRICE or PERCENT Intraday charts.

This is the first beta release. Please rate it accordingly and get back to me with suggestions, bug reports, etc.

Downloaded it on my Nexus 7, thanks. The GUI looks great. Is this basically the app equivalent of BitcoinCharts? Also, the price doesn't seem to coincide with bitco.in's bitcoin price widget, which I believe uses data directly from Coinbase.
