In all honesty it doesnt really matter... the Triumph camera is terrible.

even at the highest 720p quality, if you watched it back on a REAL hd display, you will see that it really just looks like upscaled 480p video. its all blurry with square-blurred pixelation. the same way it outputs HDMI

also the video never gets past 19 FPS in good lighting and is full of motion blur.

and I've always used a giant sd card 16 or 32GB, and "saving space" was never a concern becuase whatever video I took just got uploaded to my PC that night and deleted from the sd card.



The only answer I can really give to your question is go ahead and use the highest quality available in settings and even then you won't be happy with it.
