Black Evos available at best buy

Bestbuy.com Check it out yourself if you are still interested. Unfortunately I need to buy from Sprint because I'm not spending 500+ on an Evo when it retails with Sprint for 450.

Also just something that happened to me today. I went to a Sprint store and the lady told me to be careful with buying a "new" Evo. She told me that most of the "new" Evo's were actually refurbished phones and the Radioshack across the street actually got in trouble for selling "new" refurbished phones. No idea whether this is true or not, but it makes sense since some people are on like their 3rd and 4th Evos and many who buy new Evos have some problems as well.
 
I highly doubt any radio shack, BB or Sprint store is selling refurbished phones as new. Sounds like bs to get you to buy there instead.:rolleyes:

That's what I thought as well. Just thought I'd mention it. She also didn't promote their store over others. She was just like you should wait until the next batch of phones comes in blah blah... She probably didn't know what she was talking about, but who knows lol.
 
I think she is right. I'm sure most people on their 3rd or 4th EVO initially purchased their phone from RadioShack.
 
Its better to call them at 1877-702-2211 and choose option 3. I am ordering one as I type this. The web site keeps crashing!!
 
Some select Radio Shack's ARE selling referbs at a discount. (I believe $50 off). The are required to disclose this to the customer!
 
I don't know if my order will be accepted.
I was online trying to do a purchase but was having problem completing the order. While still online called to order by phone and was told they are sold out.
After that I continued to try online and finally was able to complete the transaction, so hopefully I will get the Evo for the wife.
 
The first time I called they said that too. I was prompted to press 1 for Iphone and 2 for Evo I pressed 2 and the message told me they were sold out. Then I chatted with a rep online and was told to press 3 like I am just ordering any regular phone andit took me straight to a rep who took my order and it went right through. So if anyone still wants to try call the 1-877 number and when prompted select option 3.
