Help Black Homescreen / Unable to Launch Apps / Device Doesn't Work

i have a Motorola Atrix and i've recently downloaded this "DIY Wallpaper" app and it killed my phone! when the screen is in lock mode...i see my wallpaper and everything looks cool. when i unlock it, i'm presented with a black screen and no ability to launch ANYTHING on my phone.

is there a program that will allow me to uninstall that app via my pc? if so, are there specific instructions on how to do it as well?

if not, is there a way to hard reset my Atrix when it won't go into Recovery Mode? i've attempted to enter Recovery mode, however there's a message at the bottom left hand corner that says:

"E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command"

I'm not certain as to exactly how I got it going...but, I was able to enter recovery mode and all is well now. I think I wiped the cache and after a reboot was able to triple tap the screen on the "ok" button and bingo!
