I spent 10 minutes in the Verizon store suffering over the decision. I went back and forth over this choice, but went to black. Ultimately it went into an black Otterboz Defender case so it didn't matter...
White seems like fingerprints and smudges don't appear very well as it would on a darker color such as black. Black is a nice color IMO, but if you want a color where smudges and fingerprints don't show up well get the white color.
I got the white one with AT&T, but now I am considering upgrading my blue S3 to a black S4 with VZW. I am just not sure that I want two S4's, so trying to wait for something else, but comparable to S4.
I got a black one, but honestly it really isn't black. It's more of a graphite color and has that burlap looking pattern in it. My wife insisted on a black Note 2 and immediately bought a white flip cover for it (the flip cover replaces the back.) Go figure!!
Just curious which one is more popular. I prefer the black because the screen is seamless with the body. The black edge on four sides of the screen is noticeable on the white version.
