If you have ordered this item please let me know if you have received it or not.

I know of a few people on this forum who have said they ordered it and a few have said it did not turn up. I have so far not seen a single person who said they have received it.

Mine was apparently dispatched on the 13th of his month, I contacted the seller after a week and they said wait 2 days, if it has not arrived contact them again. Which I did and they said they would send a new one out. Still nothing has arrived a week after that.

I think it's too much of a coincidence that we all seem to be having items lost in the post who are buying this exact item.
 
I got an email yesterday (Friday) saying it's been dispatched and i should receive it Monday 1st Nov.

I'll update then if i have got it or now.

;)
 
Email on the 23rd (last Saturday) saying it had shipped but nowt as yet. Amazon's delivery estimate is 28th/10 to 1st/11 so I'll hassle them next week if it doesn't turn up.

They said it was sent on the 19th, contacted them on the 26th and they said they'd resend. Still got nothing yet, had to get a red one off eBay, that still took 3 days with first class post, Royal Mail's service has been shocking of late
 
I ordered the exact same item from the same Amazon seller - he said it was dispatched on the 23rd but it's still not turned up yet. He also put his price up shortly after I ordered it.

I have just contacted him and waiting for his reply.

It's not good news that others are seem to be having the same problems so I'd be interested if he tries to blame Royal Mail.

He has also had a fair few bad feedback comments about items not turning up this month.
 
Also if you look on his amazon order page for this item now, it now says it's available for pre-order only "due to be released on November 8th 2010"

1st November here - and still no case. Saw the 'pre-order' info. so said if my case really hasn't been sent then refund me. Let's see what happens.

Got an email from him today, saying a batch had been lost in the post and that he was waiting for more from his supplier. Said I can keep the order and get a free packet of screen protectors. Or get a refund. I asked for a refund and it was granted. He said he'd still send me a freebie when they came anyway, so I am pleased with that!

Yep. Just got the email myself. I'd said I wanted a refund so he said that was fine. But said he'd send a case anyway. Seems some people still give good service. Sounds like he's been messed around himself by deliveries. I'll update when/if the case arrives.

I ordered from the same Amazon seller, Accsi-uk, on the 23rd October and it still hasn't arrived. I thought it strange when, just after ordering, I got an email informing me that it had shipped (already? that was quick!)
So a batch went missing? Yeh right. It's my belief that the guy had none in stock when he took orders, as at the time, there weren't even any silicone cases on eBay :mad:

Last Thursday, I ordered a gel case off an eBay seller, londonmagicstore, at 1:50pm, and received it next day at 11:20am, 200 miles away. Less than 24 hours! This seller now has the silicone cases in stock and he's just got my order, plus two orders for other stuff :D

Edit: ok, to his credit, the Amazon seller has issued me a refund and has also promised to send me the case anyway, as a gesture of goodwill. I guess that'll stave off a few negs.
 
Ordered two things from Amazon at the same time (Screen Protectors and the Silicon Case), Heres the invoice i got when the first item was delivered.

Yes I had the same email,

good that he is offering refunds and goodwill gestures,

bad that there was mis-communication about the order being dispatched when it had not been.

As for the case itself, if any of you have the one from ebay I imagine it is the same thing. Does anyone have a photo of it so we can see what it looks like ?

I bought from LondonMagicStore too, good service. Even though the red case was a little too near pink for my liking!
 
I received my silicone case from londonmagicstore (eBay seller) this morning. It feels so much nicer on the phone, when compared to the gel case I bought last week (that felt too hard - I didn't like it).

The silicone rubber is softer to the touch, feels slightly tackier and grippier in the hand, and the phone's buttons are MUCH easier to press now. With the gel case, I had to use a fingernail to press the top button! The silicone case has a little pimple moulded inside, which presses on the button, so along with the flexible rubber, the buttons are easier to operate.

It's a tiny bit loose-fitting at the bottom of the phone around the mic but it's no big deal.

hey dude, cheers for the quick review on this one. how thick is it? does it add much bulk to the whole package? thanks in advance
 
How thick? Hard to say.. maybe a millimetre or so. It doesn't add any significant bulk. Anyway, surely you're better having one fitted than not?

I had a silicone case and screen protectors on my Touch HD for over 18 months and it's in mint condition. And it's for sale ;)

indeed buy i'd want to fit a thin buy sturdy one than gigantic unable to fit into pocket properly one lol cheers for the info tho! :)

and lol at the sale plug, im just fobbing my Hero with one of the recycling firms for
 
I got mine today too. It is fairly loose fitting especially around the bottom of the phone where it says htc. The buttons are good as they have an extra impression on the inside, so if anything the buttons work better than they did without the case.

Overall though I prefer my leather pouch with ribbon to pull phone out.

It doesn't completely cover every bit of the phone, there is a gap between the rubber and the screen protector at the top and it feels like it might come off when using it in my pocket. I wouldn't be suprised if a coin got stuck in the gap quite easily too if you share your pocket.

i just feel safer using my leather pouch. Perhaps if they made it a bit tighter it would improve things a bit, but I'd probably still stick to the leather pouch.
 
Finally got my case today from Accsi-uk ordered it 20th Oct. Have no problems using the phone/buttons and its not bulky, but agree the bottom seems a bit loose near the Logo, but not bad for the money!
 
My Black Sillicone Case from Amazon arrived today and they're basically the same as you get from Londonmagicstore from ebay, Got 2 different cases now one in white and one in black and they are both the same apart from colour :)
 
arrived from amazon for me yesterday.

won't be using it whan i do finally get my DHD from handtec though as i have the leather pouch from htc.

looks like it will make a nice backup though.
