Help Black splotches?

I noticed this too, Oddly enough I was drunk out of my mind and thought I was seeing things. But they are in fact there. Is this going to cause problems in the future and should I return it? Or is it something I could just look past? I'd rather not go through the hassle of returning the phone if it's something that will not ruin my phone.

it is a fact that Apple would NEVER distribute for sale a product with such a glaring defect.

Perhaps you hadn't heard of the display on the iPad 2. It had more leakage than a 13 year old getting her first period. I went through 4 and finally gave up and got a Samsung Galaxy Tab. No matter what you tried to view on that thing, funky white spots showed unless you were in a brightly lit room. Apple refused to acknowledge it.

As far as Apple and glaring defects... Antenna Gate....either that or everyone testing the iPhone 4 held it with the tips of their fingers in select areas of the phone in strong reception areas....

I just got a PS Vita. I know its using an Amoled screen...cuz I saw the splotches yesterday. Once so far. Its the screen technology and specific instances. At the same time I also had a G Nex and it either didnt have it or it was better than my RAZR as far as splotches. I blame it more on the workers building these devices more than anything at this point after seeing different degrees of splotches. My Vita has it worse than my RAZR...lol. There is a G Nex owner at another site with the same issue.

You can try exchanging for less or no splotches. Just be careful what you wish for... I have the same advise for G Nex users too.
