Help Blank Screen

I've had the Optimus V for 2 weeks and a strange thing happened last night. I used the phone and then five minutes later when I went to use the phone again the screen was completely blank. Nothing would show up at all and the battery was fully charged. I called the phone from my home phone and it rang but still a dark screen. I pulled the battery and then it was ok. Was hoping it was just a fluke but it did the same thing again this morning. Anyone else have a similar experience?

There have been isolated reports of freezeups such as yours, but it should only be a concern if the pattern starts repeating itself. Pulling the battery was the right fix.

Just had this happen to me also. Had to pull the battery.

Happened to me last night. First problem I have had with the V in 3 months of ownership except for the spotty 3g and cell coverage which is a VM/Sprint problem.

Same here. It's happened a few times and just happened again. Really annoying.
