Help Blank Screen

So I just got an Evo 4G last week and everything has been fine. Yesterday I decided to turn it off to charge it and this morning when I turned it on I have no home screen. When I double tap and it brings up the 7 small screens on 1 page they are blank too. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

Well after turning it off and on a couple of times the problem has corrected itself. Is this something common and has anyone else ever experienced this?
