Bleh Virgin Mobile Replacements!

So I had to replace my previous phone, and the new phone I get doesn't work.

It sucked. I didn't have service, the only reason I renewed was because of having a new phone! D:

Now my days will be wasting away until the new one gets here.. Thankfully I was told I can call and get refunded for the lost time.

But VM messed up. I asked for a backplate because my previous one was sorta bent on one of the latches, and they say "okay, it'll be shipped separately.".

They shipped it with the phone, and then I received another separate package. I have two backplates.

And I currently have two batteries, original + one off ebay, I asked for another because my original is all battered, and they said yes. I'm 99% certain I'll be getting two replacement batteries.


I also found out something about their policy, you know how everyone was complaining about getting a refurbished phone instead of a new one? Apparently VirginMobile sends you a refurbished phone if your original is over 30 days old. Just something I found out.

I got a new replacement, and my original phone was purchased at the beginning of August. They say that they will send refurbs for all replacements, but it isn't always true.

They told me it was 30 days when they started sending refurbs.

How do you check if yours is new? The faulty replacement looks new to me..

I got a brand new one last week...and it replaced my triumph that I bought when they first came out. and why would you complain about all the extras you get? I think its awesome, I got to keep my charger,backplate,battery,etc...and I got brand new back, 2 new batterys (1 in box, 1 extra shipped to me) and all the other stuff that come in the box.

Prior to my days with Best Buy's Product Replacement Plan, I used to go through VM. I know that all but my current Triumph were duds in some form or fashion. :/

i actually had luck... pretty much all of my triumphs were perfect. but like 1-2 of them had the screen flicker. nothing else was wrong.

also, they all can handle the 1.9Ghz OC

Virgin Mobile replacement service is the easiest and best out there. I purchased my device the same week of release and recieved a brand new, sealed in box replacement not even a month ago. I called late Saturday night and my phone was here Monday morning. No issues, little questions asked during my call to them, my phone works great. Not everyone will have a smooth replacement, can't blame them for not being perfect, but they damn sure are near it.

I wasn't complaining about the extra accessories. But it's sorta unethical..

My first could only OC to 1.3GHz xD(the brand new one)

The replacement I got(a refurb) I never tested the OC, but it had the screen flicker problem.

This last one was perfect in every way but this stupid defect. It could OC to 2GHz, I tested it on benchmark apps and it didn't crash.
