Is there an app on the rezound that's called Scan? Did it come with the phone?

Yes and yes. I've actually used it instead of installing another scanner.

I'm considering the NFL Mobile app as bloatware as well. It's telling me my preview period is over. I could've sworn I heard someone say that it was valid for the whole season.....OH well, time for temporary root so I can get that crap off the phone.

what are you using to remove the apps? Titanium or App Quarantine...

I'm about to do a temp root but not sure if i should pony up the money for Titanium if all i want to do is remove the bloat.

Yeahha (the guide, not that rude member) has indicated that Verizon OTA updates don't go so smoothly when you remove any pre-installed bloatware when attempting OTA updates. That being said, you may want to just suspend the bloatware for now. If you saw the Thunderbolt posts regarding all the problems with the OTA update, you'd really tread lightly.
