Block caller

I noticed there is an option to block a caller. If I select that will it also block their texts?

Not only does it block their texts, but it puts them in a little invisible box like you see those mime's in when you walk through the park. Actually, those mime's may be people that were blocked by someone else's thunderbolt............ hmmmmm

so what happens to the texts? I understand that calls go to voicemail.

I thought it was the same as "send to voicemail" like on my Incredible. I'm not sure if it blocks texts, too.

It DOES NOT block the text. Your phone won't ring. The call will be sent to voicemail.
