Help Blockbuster 2.3 for HTC

Im new to this forum so I apologize if this was covered in another thread.

A few days ago I got an app update for BLockbuster 2.3 for HTC, I dont use the blockbuster app and I only opened the app after reading about disabling the auto updates. Well now this app update is appearing but it wont let me update it, only gives me the option to open or uninstall. I tried uninstalling it and seeing what it would do but now it just gives me the option to open. Like I said I dont use the app but its kind of annoying having that update just hanging out in my apps and not being able to do anything with it Any help would be appreciated...thank you

my blockbuster finally updated... but when i try to load the app to make sure to disable updates... the option isnt there anymore.

And now I see the app running in the background even though I force stop it =/

I couldn't update the blockbuster app for a few days and then it just disappeared today, I thought it finally updated but when I went into applications and checked what version I was running it was still the old version. I did have to force close it cuz it had started again even though I didn't open the app

I guess they are grasping at any straw they can to stay alive. They should just bow out gracefully.

Blockbuster is now showing up in the Market My Apps under Not Installed. Strange app indeed.
