Help Blocked numbers being prevented from leaving a voicemail

Hello,

I was on my Samsung galaxy s4 the other day and I discovered that in addition to blocking numbers I can stop my blocked numbers from going to voice mail and instead just cutting out. I decided not to activate this as I didn't need to but recently I have found that I am in need of it and can't find this setting again. This is something that is on the phone and NOT AN App. Does anyone know how to navigate to this to activate it? Many thanks

I don't have an s4 so I'm not sure on the feature. But depending on the carrier, why not block the number directly through the carrier? That blocks any form of contact even voice-mail

Hello,

The reason why is because I'm always adding new numbers on (PPI etc...) and would have to call up the carrier each time. Would be a great hassle.

Go into your dialer > menu button > Call Rejection > Auto Reject List

You can also put numbers on that list by long pressing on them in your call log and choosing "Add to Reject list"

Hi. Thank you for this. However, what I wanted to find out was hope to stop that person from then leaving a voicemail. Do you know by any chance? Many thanks

If you download the YouMail app for visual voicemail you can personalize your vm greetings according to the caller. For blocked #s you can select a greeting informing the caller you do not accept calls from blocked #s. You can also prevent any number from leaving a vm.
I know you were looking for the functionality without downloading an app but this is an option.
