Help Blocked phone numbers

scotth501

Newbie
I had a survey company call me, and I saw an option for blocking the phone number -- which I did. However, now I'm getting voicemail notifications from them because it rolls to voicemail so quick (it was not before, and now I get a 1 second message saved every time).

Is there a way to find the blocked number list and edit it? Can I just add them as a contact and set no ringtone or some other option? Instead of getting calls I don't want, now I'm getting notifications and I'd like to get back to where I was prior to the blocking option to maybe figure out a better way to handle them.

Thanks,
Scott

I know you can block phone numbers from your sprint account but I have never used it. Not sure if it will also block voicemails from being left on your phone since the call won't go through at all.

My question is, if you block someone in your contacts, will it stop texts from coming through?

You can block any text from anyone right from your sprint account. They can't send you anything and you can't send them anything either, works great for me when dealing with my crazy ex-girlfriend. Just look under the update profile tab on the right after you sign in to your account.

Actually, if you'd prefer, you could enter your Cell# into the
National "DO NOT CALL" Registry...

1(888) 382-1222

Give it a few weeks for the full effect, lol.
Of course the other built in options work as well, I just think it's nice to have the number listed in the registry to PREVENT them from having your number in the first place.

These telemarketers will always seem to find a way. My home phone is listed under that registry and I still get random calls on a regular basis. At one point it got so bad that I basically stop answering my phone all together and only took calls that came to my cell phone.

calls that came to my cell phone.

That's my point, CELL phones must now be listed there as well if you wish to avoid those calls. Also, I'm sure if you ARE registered there and they do call, then a complaint to the public service commission in your state should have an effect. If not then kindly ask for their operator # and a contact/fax#, then fax a cease and desist letter, lol... there are ways to fight!
