Hello all
Just got my new HTC Desire on Friday. Fantastic phone.
I have been searching for ages over the weekend trying to find an answer to a question I have but so far have had no luck so thought I would ask here.
Is there any way of controlling how an app can access the net? I am on a limited (500mb) data plan with my carrier. I installed Skype on Friday and according to the app "Network Usage" Skype has sent 332Mb and received 331Mb. I have only been on calls for around an hour so this seems very high to me. For obvious reasons I would like to dissallow Skype to access the net via anything but wifi if that is possible. I really done want any nasty suprises by going over my data plan limit and getting a huge bill.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Richard
