Help Blocking Incoming Text Messages

HELP!!! I want to completely block my text messages from coming. I dont want a hidden notification but still be in my messages I want to not be there at all, and I wanted to know if it was a way or an app to do that. HTC Desire.

Can do it within handcent so my guess is you can block in stock app

well this is a lil extreme but if rooted get miui rom and theres a thing u slide down bar and theres a thing called visitor mode where blocks all texts. and can be turned off. and out of curiosity why would u want to block ur messages.

are you trying to block all texts or just from certain people? if you want block all texts, most providers, (verizion, att, sprint, tmo) will allow you to do that by going to their site and managing your account.
