Help Blocking Unsolicited Txt Messages

GF and I both got MT4G this weekend. Love the phone, and thanks for all the good advice in here on how to change the settings to preserve battery life, etc.

We both used to get unsolicited txt msgs on our old phones, and there was no way to block them. Is there a way on the MT4G, or a good app for that? Tired of the "you've just won, or need a loan, or houses in your area from xxx" type of crap from showing up.

wondering if you can blacklist them. I have a few however delete them once i get them. Ill have to wait till i get another to test it out.

I use Handcent SMS and that has a block (blacklist) feature. Free on the market.

Turn off notifications on the default app though.
