Has anyone being able to play this game on the Esteem for more than 2 minutes before it making your phone powercycle?

The reason I ask is because that's exactly what it does to my phone. I contacted GLU about this issue and they gave me the usual "we make tons of games and try to make them compatible with all and new devices, but it's hard to keep up with technology" speech, they also added the do not support rooted devices. Please advise.

are you running your phone at 2ghz? because i was running mine at 2ghz and with a game, it would reboot. so i had to lower it to 1.9 ghz and it was fine. you may have to lower yours

this was prior to overclocking. i played it while at 1ghz, then overclocked to 1.8ghz (which is my stable point) and thought it was going to help but didnt

yes, itll do that every so often, other times (most times in my case) my phone will powercycle. i can play as far as passing the tutorial, buying the sword. but thats bout it

I had the same problem with that game and samurai 2 .... downloaded the free version of chainfire 3D and can pay both all day lol

i downloaded chaingfire 3d, i open it but i dont know what to do at that point. i closed it, opened the game and still powercycled my phone.

i found it and installed it. Then i.just configure it works fine now just at times a lil laggy and it sometimes closes the game

i can actually play for as long as i want now. my phone just gets a lil hot after a while, but what can i expect when its oc at 1.8ghz .

just make sure you undo the settings on chainfire 3d when you're done playing, or the gallery on your phone is going to look a lil funny (and stop the gallery process)

I did try undoing settings on cf3d but gallery stays the same, need to reboot to have gallery back in it's original state, anyway to avoid rebooting?

After undoing the settings you need to force stop gallery: settings/applications/manage applications/all/scroll down to gallery/force stop it

And you should be good to go.
