Am I the only person that goes through Incredible external speakers like they are going out of business? This is literally the 4th blown speaker I have had on the Incredible. I do nothing crazy with my phone, barely use it for games and about the only time it makes noise is when it rings or I get a text. It's driving me crazy but it seems to be very isolated since I see very little talk of the external speaker blowing out.

I have seen others with multiple speaker problems. I'm on my second Dinc for that very reason. I did not abuse my speaker either. I have read here that some find fine metal shavings in that speaker port and got satisfaction by using a magnet to remove the particles. I tried that.. then got a replacement lol. But you might try that if you work in an area where metal particles might get into the phone. After all.. the speaker is a magnet.
+1. You can prevent this by covering the hole with tape/screen protector.
