Help Blown Speaker

So, ever since my Droid X arrived via Fed-EX, I've had issues with the ear speaker in-call volume. Turning up the in-call volume much past half way yeilds, what I describe as a vibration buzz, following any sound coming through the ear peice, similiar to a blown speaker. I plan to have it replaced, but wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this issue?? I hope it's not a design flaw for all of the phones... I would like to turn my phone up past half way!!

Other than that, the phone seems great and I can't wait for Froyo to arrive!
 
I have the same problem with mine. My wife's phone is fine. My replacement is due to arrive tomorrow from Verizon.
 
The only difference I can tell is the buzzing on mine when the volume gets over 50%. At softer volumes they sound the same to me.
 
i had, well have this currently. replacement phone arrived today, but the brains that is verizon registered my phone to the wrong number. for some reason this can't be changed in the computer system on their end and i have to ship it back and they are resending me another phone. this one won't ship till 8/3 now. i pray the new one doesn't have any issues.

Wow dude! That sucks, customer service is great, but that would rub me wrong. Hope it all turns out well for ya! It's extra weird that they can't just move the MEID # to your account... Seems like it would be the same process as if you sold the phone to someone, who knows...

Did they send you a refurb? or completely new phone, box, charger, so on?

Had the same problem with my original Droid (almost like the speaker had come loose and was vibrating against the casing). Call VZW and get a replacement...
 
This seems to be an older poasting however I just got my X yesterday and am having the same problem as described, a anoying vibration in the ear speaker when someone talks. Is this still a problem with the X ? seems like they would have worked it out by now ? guess I should try a replacemet ? or is there some fix I can try myself ? any advice please. Thanks
