Help Blue LED on randomly?

Just recently got the note 2 and I've noticed that when the phone is locked, as in I either press the side lock button or let it time out, sometimes and randomly the blue light LED indicator pretty fast (every second) or so. Once I unlock the phone (thinking its a notification) it turns off. And I check the notification bar, nothing is there. Really confuses me and is super annoying to think you have a notification when you really don't. Any solutions? Thanks in advance

Yep if any other messaging/email app is being used, be sure to disable notifications in the stock apps.
