i would like to listen to music at work with blue tooth headhpones, but I am cheap. what's the best brand for the money? I don't need anything fancy, just something that will connect to my phone, have a decent range and won't empty my wallet.

I just ordered the jaybird freedoms. $100. Should have them in a day or 2. I'll let you know how they are when I get a chance to use them...

ouch. I was hoping not to have to drop a C-note on a pair of BT headphones. Is that typical? I know the ones in the verizon store were expensive I was hoping someone knew of a better deal out there. Is there a lot of paying for brand names with BT? I'm all about buying the off-brand which is usually just as good or atleast close to the name brand stuff.

I have been using Motorola S9 HD headphones in my last 3 Droids (Original Droid, Droid X, and Droid Bionic)

but those are still about $50

I use these too Motorola S9 HD, and they are extremely good have had them for 3 yrs now, and you can get them on ebay for under 50.

I have the Jabra Halo about $100. Work well plus they also have a wire connection when BT can't be used. I had them for about 1-2 years. They are over the ear, foldable & light.

I use the Arctic Sound P311. Its a behind the ear design that folds up. Works great and sound quality is surprisingly good for the cost. It also has a mic built-in so you can also use it for calls. I haven't tried using it for that though as I primarily use it with my laptop at school.

been rolling with the moto bluetooth headphones since 2008 with the s8's. i have the s9-HD's now cause the s10's wouldnt sync right with my droid X. although i have been through 4 pairs of these headphones in 4 years. i do love them. great sound, 6 to 8 hrs full blast before recharge, bass response is awesome with the most open ear buds.

they dont like sweat though. but for under $50 Amazon.com: Motorola S9-HD Bluetooth MOTOROKR/MOTOACTIV Stereo Headset (Gloss Black): Cell Phones & Accessories you cant beat them

I liked my S9 HD's a lot until sweat killed them.

I recently bought some Jaybird Freedom's but they wouldn't charge so I returned them. BestBuy didn't have any more to exchange. I didn't like the feel of them anyway. Currently considering some S10 HD's.

I have these....Rocketfish™ Mobile - RF-MAB2 High-Definition Stereo Bluetooth Headphones - Black - RF-MAB2

They are awesome, and the sound and range is fantastic...I wear them while riding my bike and I put my phone in a pouch on the bike and have yet to lose any signal. Also, I can talk on the phone if I need to and haven't had any complaints about call quality.

I tried a set of those. I wanted to love them but they put a lot of pressure on one part of my ears. Had to do with the triangular shape.

I liked the feel of the s10's but my X wouldnt sync up correctly with them. S10-hd or s11's should be coming out soon.
