Lurker
I just got my Optimus T a few days ago and it wasn't until yesterday that I first tried to use my Blueant V1 with it. I can hear other people okay, but they are saying I sound like I'm either underwater or in a wind tunnel. This V1 worked fine with my old Blackberry 8120, but it doesn't seem to play well with the new phone.
Things I've already tried:
- unpairing and re-pairing with the new phone
- resetting the V1 to clear out all old pairings and re-paired with new phone.
- Checked that the V1 has the most current firmware, v 5.3, it does.
- Checked that the phone has all of it's updates, it does.
Any thoughts or ideas what might be causing this?
Anyone else having issues with the V1?
Thanks for your input...I'm stumped.
Update 12/14/10: Well, I tried my old Jabra BT8010 and it does the same thing...grrr. It must be something about the phone itself. My girlfriend's Optimus T seems to be okay on her car's built in bluetooth, but for some reason on the earpiece mine is acting weird. Wifi and GPS are both off, so I don't think it's interference. It's maddening. I think I'm going to have to go back to a wired earpiece with this phone.
