Help Bluetooth and car connectivity

When my G4 is connected to my 2013 Honda Pilot, the bluetooth connection on a phone call will drop multiple times which is extremely annoying. I did not have this issue with my Samsung Galaxy S4. I have no issues when streaming music through bluetooth though. Any ideas on the culprit and possible solutions?

I've used my G4 in my wife's car with a aftermarket Bluetooth equipped head unit and experienced nothing like that.
My first question would be, have you deleted and re-paired the connection between the phone and the head unit.

I repaired in yesterday and was on a call for only a few minutes and it did not drop. I have a 4 hour car ride tonight so will be able to thoroughly test it!

I can't play music that is stored on my phone via the bluetooth in the car. The phone call portion of the bluetooth works fine, so what gives? I always get a message that says 'No USB Connection', but that honestly shouldn't matter since the phone is showing as recognized in the car's bluetooth menu. Anybody else encounter this?
