Help Bluetooth bug

Well-Known Member
I've been experiencing a consistent bug that if I am listening to music or a podcast via my Bluetooth headset and a call comes in on my SIP account (using CSIPSimple) the audio over the bluetooth stops and I have to reboot both the phone and the headset to get them working again. Anyone else experience something like this, and any idea who I should file a bug report with?

Happened twice on the way home last night, at least one of those wasn't due to a missed call (but I forgot to check on the first one before rebooting the phone). Anyone else experiencing anything like this?

I'd recommend trying another BT headset if you can put your hands on one. I've had lots of problems with incompatibility between phones and headsets (and also between computers and headsets). BT is a two-way communications protocol and if the handshaking isn't exactly in agreement between the two devices, all kinds of odd problems can result.

So far my Verizon GN2 works as well as any other BT device I've had, but even it doesn't pair perfectly with my car (Kia Sorento); download of the phonebook is incomplete.

Good luck.

Yeah mine does something similar with my BT radio and headset while listening to PowerAmp. When it happens, try hitting your volume up/down button. My tunes are still playing, just muted. When hit vol up it resumes the sound.

People are posting the 'bug' on the Poweramp forum.
