Bluetooth connection to laptop

Hi guys 1st post.

I use my phone as a "dongle" to access internet on my laptop. I have set it up fine using the data cable, but I cannot figure out how to do it wirelessly via bluetooth.

My last 3 phones (SE W880 SEW950 and HTC touch 2) all worked via the bluetooth, but I am at a brick wall with my lovely desire.

Any ideas guys?

i think there are two things to do:
1. to root your desire and get bluetooth tether (instead of the usb one when unrooted)
2. wait for tether on rooting to be fixed to be able to do it (as far as other members experienced).
