Help Bluetooth connection with iMac

This is a topic previously discussed, but all the discussions seem to be old and/or unanswered, so hopefully with time passing, there might have been updates to the phone which have resolved the problem...

I can't connect my HTC Desire 2.2 to my iMac (which is about 3 years old running Leopard). The two do pair up, and the iMac can browse my phone (so there is a connection to a degree I suppose), but I can't send files FROM my phone TO my iMac.

The preferences on the iMac show the HTC as a device and the 'connected' dot is always red and stating unconnected - even if the iMac is browsing the phone.

Does anyone know of a solution so that the phone can browse and/or send files to the iMac?

Cheers

Sussed it. In system prefs, click 'Sharing' and in there is a 'Bluetooth Sharing' option. Tick that and you should be able to send files from your phone to your iMac. Not a phone issue after all!
