Help Bluetooth is freezing my phone

Hi. Second time in a row this has happened to me. 10 minutes into my call using my bluetooth headset my samsung galaxy prevail freezes, the screen goes black, the buttons the phone become unresponsive, and the other person on the line can't hear me and I can't hear them. I have to take the battery out and restart the phone. Has this happened to anyone else? Any other fix besides resetting to factory default? Thanks.

Trying rebooting phone and deleting blue tooth device and reconnecting it. I have a bluetooth from kenwood up to my stereo and it works awesome. never missed a beat with it...

I ended up doing a factory reset and so far so good.

Anything with any kind of electronic brain can act funky and need to be reset
