Help Bluetooth issues/discussion

Hey everyone. Apple already told me that this doesn't work but maybe someone knows something they could share. I can pair my phone with my mac but every time I go to click on it, it says connected for about 4 seconds and goes right back to disconnected. I see people on you tube do this but I cannot. I know iPhones can work. Apple said bluetooth only works for headsets and something else I can't remember. My mac also finds my tv, and my 3 other macs all connect and pair and disconnect within seconds. So if anyone has a secret that somehow can get my phone to work with the computer I would appreciate your input.

what are you trying to accomplish by connecting your phone to your MAC?

there may be programs that you can install to transfer files to/from MAC if that is what you are trying to do. if this is the case, look at wifi file explorer in the market.

Basically transfer pics from the phone to the computer so I don't have to email them to myself. But I just figured out to connect the USB to the computer and I can transfer files that way.
