Help Bluetooth issues: Kill this media player app!

I see this happening with other phones, but I have not come across a fix for it yet and hopefully someone here can help.

I have a 2011 Jeep JK4d that came with a 430N media player. The BT phone features work GREAT on it, no complaints... but everyone in all the Jeep forums are having the same sort of issues with the BT being able to stream music from anything. So until we get an upgrade or a fix for it I am afraid I will not be able to stream music using my BT feature.

My problem is (and I have seen other phone users with the same problem..) is that every time I get in the Jeep, my media player starts, even though I am not streaming any music. I can stop/kill it, but in a few moments it pops back open and just sits there eating my battery.

I tried doubletwist and then deleted it because it did not help any of my issues.

Any help would be appreciated!

PS: I am not ready to root my phone yet. This is my first smart phone and I am still trying to figure out the basics. I am also not on Froyo yet. I am just a little nervous LOL.

I found a fix on a Jeep forum of all places.

if anyone else if having this problem this is how you turn it off and keep it off:

go to bluetooth settings and a hard press on the UCONNECT. Then OPTIONS and uncheck the MEDIA AUDIO setting.

You have to be connected to to this.

I am happy for now.
