Help Bluetooth keyboard and mouse

I bought the Motorola bluetooth keyboard and mouse back in December, thinking I might be able to use them with my Bionic and TV to get a semi-desktop experience, or at least make it easier to enter longer descriptions into the invoicing app I'm using. I had some trouble with it at first, and put it aside for a while. The recent video of the guy using his Galaxy Nexus as a desktop, and the Ubuntu on Android video have piqued my interest and I'm back to it, but finding that the mouse functionality seems to be hit or miss. It pairs with the phone fine, but sometimes the pointer disappears and/or the mouse has no effect on the phone.

Has anyone else tried this on the Bionic with any success?

I have had the same issue when using a Kb and mouse combo. I ended up just buying a Kb with a built in track pad. It works pretty well.

I actually use a normal wireless mouse and keyboard (non-bluetooth) for this purpose. The USB dongles are plugged into USB ports on the HDMI dock and it works flawlessly, both in Webtop and Mirroring modes.

Anybody else? I'm trying to take a look at Webtop to see how useful it might be, but this is a real hindrance, and I don't want to plunk down $100 for a HD station just to find out that Webtop is the dud I expect it is (I'm intrigued but don't have high hopes).

I have one - habitually addicted to buying all of the accessories - and for a good feel of the experience, read what people have to say about the lapdock. Then go to the store and try the lapdock they have on display. I find the limitations in the HD dock to be in the Webtop OS... laggy, out of memory, etc. On the flip side, it is pretty handy to take the lapdock out when I need to type a longer email and don't want to thumb it on my Bionic or Xoom. :D

I got a microsoft mouse from bestbuy that is bluetooth and it works well both on my droid x and my Bionic. The keyboard was bought from Verizon, I think it was made for the Zoom tablet but works great as well.

I just found a verbatim Bluetooth mouse in my local Reject Shop bargain bin for 6 bucks pressed the connect button and worked on my Toshiba AT1S0 straight away. I am more than pleasantly surprised.......:):)

I have the Motorola bluetooth keyboard I think was made for the zoom and the bluetooth mouse is one I bought at bestbuy. The mouse is made by Microsoft.

I have with great success used the keyboard and mouse with my Droid x and my Bionic. :)

The webtop app is awesome! I thought I read somewhere that a hack was in the works to give the bionic full ubuntu. :D
