Help BlueTooth pairing and established connection

Hello everyone. New member just signing up:). Also new to the smart phone erra as I upgraded from my standard Nokia Bluetooth flip-phone. So far, I'm enjoying my Optimus V, but there's one small inconvenience. I have a Pioneer BluTooth adapter for my truck radio that my V easily pairs and connects to. The problem is, I have to manually reconnect whenever I turn things on and off. With my old Nokia flip phone, it had an option to auto re-connect and would search out and connect everytime my radio powered up. With my Optimus V, I'm always having to manually scroll thru my menues and select "connect" everytime I leave and enter my truck. This can be a bit of a nucense:(. I contacted LG tech support and was told that currently Andriod phones don't offer auto reconnect as an option , but could be available as an apps in the future. Any way to make this connection easier than re-going thru layers of menues each time? Also, I just picked up a BodyGlove snap on case w/belt clip and was wondering what eveyone thinks about the screen covers avaiable on the market? I see peel and stick and water affix types. Thanks for any input:D

I also have this issue with my stereo headsets, and sometimes it will not pair at all,and forced to reboot.never had issues with my blackberry or ipod touch 4th gen,but i still enjoy this phone offer the crapberry i had.

I have not had this issue with Jabra or BlueAnt speakerphones...they both repaired automatically. BlueAnt has an Android app.

My pairing always stays present, but once I leave my truck and return my Optimus V reads "Paired but not Connected". Of course one quick scroll thru the menues and I touch the Blutooth device that's found and stored (Pioneer BT unit) it re-searches for my truck radio and re-connects immediately. Was just hoping my V could auto re-connect to my blutooth radio.
