Help Bluetooth pairing. What have you successfuly paired to?

Plantronics 975 - ok for phone calls.

question for you guys with the BT earpiece.... sure.. we know it works fine for phone calls. But does the same earpiece work for alerts/music/speech (mp3, gps directions) etc from the phone? Can we forward every sound that the phone makes to the BT earpiece? Thanks.

Paired to my 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe W/Nav- some connection issues- Navi shows the phone is paired (shows battery life/signal strength on navi screen), but when making a call out, or incoming call, it will ring in my pocket, or tell me the phone isn't in the car. There are other times where it works perfectly.

Funny, all these "Paired Fine" in this thread and I've had nothing but problems.

I have a generic BT ear piece from Fry's that when connected says "Noise Hush 500" I have gotten it to pair several times, but paired and connected is a PITA. It rejects the 0000 code 3 of 4 times then it connects. Once it is connected the connection can drop. BT Ear piece worked excellent with my OG DINC.

I also have an A2DP BT car kit I bought on line that can pair the phone, but it only has phone functions not audio streaming, which is why I purchased it. I can go into the Output menu when playing music and select the BT Car Kit, but it still just plays out of the phones speaker.

I endlessly tried to go through the settings for both problems to see if I could get resolution and haven't been able to figure it out. If anyone has any suggestions I would be appreciative.

I do have some issues. It successfully pairs, but I usually have to force it to connect again. It doesn't like to automatically reconnect. In the case of my BT keyboard, I sometimes have to unpair it and pair again in order to get it to connect.

Thinking it is time to call and start complaining. They can't fix what they don't know about.

Paired with my Motorola Roadster ok. It failed on the first attempt but connected right up on the second attempt. Phone and media audio.

I noticed 'static noise' with with the cigarette lighter plugged into the phone. I had the exact same issue with my Evo so the problem may be more with my charger than the phones.

I paired with my Hyudai Sonata just fine. But it only works if somebody calls me. I can answer the phone with the car controls. But when I try and say somebody's name to make a call, it never recognizes a name on my phone. I had a Motorola Droid previously and it worked just fine in my car. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

on my 2011 corolla you had to specifically add each contact to the car to call them like that. (this was on a dumbphone and smartphone)

Paired with a SoundID 500 but the headset needed a firmware update. Also pairs nicely with the JVC bluetooth adapter for aftermarket car stereo. I forget the model; KS-BTA something or other.

Finally got around to pair it with my Yamaha receiver with the YBA-10 BT adapter.
Now streaming music from across the planet :)

I am extremely embarrassed to say this but I've accidentally connected a Sony bluetooth mouse to this phone. it works hilariously... like wildly moving pages/screens in the Opera Mobile browser!! I was trying to get my phone to talk with the laptop but it's the Broadcom chipset compatibility issue. So I disabled the laptop's bluetooth, plugged in a new USB bluetooth adapter with a Motorola chipset, hit scan so that the laptop can find both the phone and the mouse. but the mouse and the phone found each other first!! :\ And the new USB adapter (laptop) still doesn't work with the phone :\ Will continue to try...
(drivers are all loaded)

edit: yeah... finally got the phone and mouse to work with the Sony Vaio Z laptop with the Cirago BT 3.0 adapter. Had to go to the W7P "Devices and Printers" to delete all the previously registered BT devices, and then scan/pair them again. :)

edit2: yaaaay earlier I doubled my data transfer speed!! I was wondering why it didn't feel super fast. I think that's because I have 2 devices sharing one new BT radio. I thought it was going interfere if I have 2 BT radios but looks like a no problem. So I unpaired everything, uninstalled & unplugged the new BT adapter and restored the laptop to the Broadcom drivers/setting from like 24 hours ago. Then paired the mouse to the old Broadcom (Sony) BT chipset. Next plugged in the new BT adapter, installed the drivers and paired the Rezound to this new Motorola (Cirago) BT chipset... and the picture transfer speed immediately doubled!

Plantronics M1100 earpiece. I bought this last Friday to replace my old Plantronics 975. This M1100 has the A2DP feature and it'll forward every sound/chime/music/navi to the earpiece plus their 3-mic DSP thing.

It has all the usual fancy features like the woman in the earpiece scolding "you-left-your-phone-behind-again!!-this-is-an-emergency!!!-make-a-u-turn-to-get-your-phone-now!!!" :o

if phones count in this thread...I successfully paired a Rezound with the Galaxy Nexus while transferring a picture between the phones at the Verizon store.

I'm interested if anyone has paired the rezound to a Chrysler MyGig radio yet?

I've got a Jeep with a MyGig and hope it works well once I pick up my Rezound.

I also thought it would be nice for folks to list the devices they have paired the Rezound with so we can get a feel for what is compatible. I've not found a thread about this yet (other than an ipad) so this might be useful to someone.

If you so desire, please list your successful bluetooth pairing experiences here.

I've paired this to my Benefon hearing aids! Don't need the Beats buds to talk on the phone now, I'm wireless, lol.
