Help Bluetooth Problem After Update?

I may have found a bug with JI6.I power cycled to phone and lost my Bluetooth device pairing for 3 items. This shouldn't happen, at least it hadn't done this with JFD.
Anyone else?
Entirely possible, but I've not seen it mentioned before. The more important thing is, are you able to pair again, and if so, do the pairings stay put after you reboot? Or are you saying that's what you did and it lost the pairings?

Okay here is exactly what happened. I was sitting in the parking lot "testing" the phone while my wife ran into the market. It was paired with my 2 headsets and with my T505 speakerphone and connected with the T505.
I was looking at LBStestmode and wanted to see if power cycling the phone might change either the numbers of birds seen or locked on the GPS.
After power cycling the phone I couldn't get my T505 to pair so I looked at Bluetooth settings. NOTHING was paired with the phone. So I paired the T505 again for the drive home BUT did NOT pair with the 2 headsets because I didn't have them with me.
Here's where we visit the Twilight Zone.
I get home, post this thread. Then I call Samsung and get right into Arial in level 3 support. I tell him what happened and that now I will pair ONE headset and then power cycle the phone to see if the problem repeats. So now we have a Plantronics headset and the T505 speakerphone paired but not connected. ONLY 2 devices are showing under Bluetooth in settings.
NOW GET THIS: I power cycle the phone go back into Bluetooth devices and lo and freakin' behold the THIRD HEADSET REAPPEARS!!
It's like the phone is possessed...

Stupid question but, was that power cycle the first you had done since the update?
The reason I ask is because, after I updated (from JI2 in case it matters), I got into my car and the radio showed that it was paired but I got a message about 911 assist being disabled due to no paired device.
While messing with the phone to see what was going on it showed as paired and connected. I decided to reboot the phone to see if it would help and when it powered back on my pairing was gone. This was the first powercycle I had done since updating. I repaired the phone to the headunit and have had no problems since. I even power cycled it there in the car 4 or 5 times just to see and so far so good.

No it wasn't - but that's a good question. Thanks for sharing your experience, that sounds similar.
Indeed. The more I read about these things the more it appears that rebooting at least a few times after an update can solve myriad problems. There are some on the custom ROM boards that suggest, almost literally, to let the phone sit for 10 minutes after flashing, use it lightly for a few minutes, then reboot, and then perhaps go through that cycle again. Rinse and repeat as it were.
You'd be surprised how many people say, "I have this problem" only to get a reply of "reboot." Then the original poster comes back and says "Hey thanks! That worked!"

Note: My Vibrant did the OS firmware update last week, and I was still able to use all my BT devices after the update with no problems.
I experienced the same thing as the above person. All of a sudden all of my BT device pairings are gone from my Vibrant BT list. I have 3 devices, Sony BT transceiver (to wirelessly send music to my car AUX input radio), Motorola S9, and Samsung WEP200. All of a sudden they're all gone from the phone BT list.
I tried pairing the Sony and Samsung BT devices again (it was able to discover my BT device then I pressed the device on the screen to start the pairing), but after my BT device light blinks (like it paired successfully), my Vibrant just says something like "Pair and connect to device". So it never really got paired.
I tried the regular power on / off. Same issue. Also tried power off, remove battery for over a minute, put back battery, wait a little more, and then power on. Still same problem.
Got home and tried the above again. Same issue.
I remember the OS firmware update will not start unless I charge my battery to about 90% so I thought what if the OS hidden all my BT devices since my battery charge level was very low (I got message to charge my battery already). So I charged my battery to about 88% (I didn't remove charger yet). Tried pairing my Samsung WEP200. But still same problem.
While it was still charging (so it maybe went over 90% charge), I then went to BT settings of phone and turned off BT, then I waited few minutes, then turned on BT again from BT settings, now all my BT devices are back and all connected like nothing bad happened.
BTW, the same thing happened to my wife's Vibrant phone with some difference. Her phone did not have any paired BT devices in the past. She also did not yet get the low battery warning message, but her battery was low already too. But when I tried to pair her own WEP200 BT device, her Vibrant got the same "Pair and connect to device" message. So her phone also won't pair.
Both our phones had LOW Battery level, so I am thinking this problem was caused by that. But I am also not sure if it was the manual turn off and on of my BT from the phone BT settings screen.
Anyways, I hope the above helps in the issue. I hope the OS is not preventing BT connections when in low battery because that would suck. I have a car charger and I would like to be able to use all my BT devices even with a low battery.
Please fix this problem. If issue happens to me again, I will post it.

Test update on my post above.
I fully charged my battery rebooted the phone. After phone starts, all my Bluetooth devices still show in my list (I actually have four BT devices paired to my Vibrant).
Today, I let the power drain to 40%, then I rebooted my phone (without removing battery). After it fully started, all my BT devices are gone /lost again.
I then turned off (unchecked) Bluetooth via Bluetooth Settings, waited about 1 minute, turned on my BT again, and then it showed all my BT devices again.
I turned off phone again and turned it back on, and all my BT devices are gone again. I then turned off (unchecked) Bluetooth via Bluetooth Settings again, then turned it back on, and then all my BT devices showed up again.
I did another test. This time I turned phone off, waited 1 minute, removed the battery, waited 1 minute, put back battery, turned it on. And same thing, I lost all my BT devices again. But when I turned off and on the BT via BT Settings, my BT devices got displayed again.
Also, in my last test above, after the phone started, my battery power went from 34% to 12%. This might be another bug where phone was not able to detect real battery percentage until you remove the battery.
So it looks like I am able to reproduce the problem.
This is a weird problem, I hope the Developers fix this issue. Where should I send this issue anyways so that the Dev people can fix it?
